Six Times Nothing develop a range of in-house tools and extensions to the Unity Game Engine for use in our internal projects. We have recently decided to start releasing some of these tools to the Unity community for free. We're proud of the tools we have developed and have found them to be invaluable additions to our own projects and it's great for us to know that they can be useful in helping to enable other developers to create great games with Unity too.
The first two tools to be released are the River Tool and the Road/Path Tool. Both of these tools were developed by Chris Morris, our Tools/FX Programmer and co-founder.
Planned future releases include an update to the Terrain Toolkit, originally developed by Sándor Moldán as part of the 2009 Unity Summer of Code and Hex, our in-house visual effects system.
UniSky is our realtime animated sky and atmospheric visual effects system for Unity 3
Created for the 2009 Unity Summer of Code, the Terrain Toolkit is an integrated solution for terrain generation in the Unity game engine.
Our free to use River Tool provides procedural mesh generation and terrain deformation for rivers in the Unity game engine.
Our free to use Road/Path tool provides procedural, curve based road mesh and texture generation in the Unity game engine.
